While I run a five-hole topper on the truck, she’s earned the right to ride up front with me when we’re meeting clients. The second she catches wind of a hunt on the horizon, it’s game on—there’s no slowing her down. With thousands of birds under her nose, she’s been a dedicated grouse and pheasant dog from the start, and she’s been guiding grouse since 2019 with relentless drive and precision. Every hunt, she gives it her all.

Aspen is a 65lb grouse-hunting machine. A typical happy-go-lucky lab, she charges through the woods with fearless abandon, busting through anything in her path. Raised at Double T British Kennels, she’s been focused on hunting since day one. Aspen’s bold and relentless in the field, making her a powerhouse when it comes to grouse.

Fern is an energetic, loveable English Cocker from a championship line in England. Raised in traditional driven shoots, she’s an exceptional pheasant dog, with a natural talent for flushing and retrieving. Full of energy and always jumping around, she’s a crazy girl with a big heart. A true pro with hand signals, Fern is quick, focused, and a blast to hunt with.
