Pine River Trout Fishing Report for 6.10.25

Pine River Fishing Report

The Pine is currently running very low and clear for this time of year. Water temps have rebounded nicely after the recent cold snap and are just about perfect. Streamer fishing has been extremely productive this past week. Cloudy days have been the best, but sunny days have been surprisingly productive as well.  Moderate sized streamers in the 3-4” range have been the most productive. In typical Pine fashion, flies utilizing rubber legs and some weight have fished best.

Nymphing has also been really effective as the water has cleared and warmed a bit. You can find fish in riffle shoots and deep clay pools.  Heavy rubber legged stonefly nymphs have been the most productive, along with size 14-18 general mayfly nymphs and caddis larva. Getting deep has been key and if you aren’t losing some flies on the bottom every now and again you probably aren’t down enough.

We still have days available and the Pine fishes well all summer long as it stays cool enough to fish safely.  Give the office a call at 231-228-7135 or click here for availability.
