Pine River Trout Fishing Report for 6.8.26

The Pine is Heating Up for Streamer and Nymph Fishing!

The Pine is currently running very low, but with a decent stain. Streamers has been extremely productive this past week even in the bright sun. Moderate sized flies have been the best with black, yellow, white, and rust all getting attention. Color preference can change day to day so keep changing until you find what they want.

Nymphing has also been productive with stonefly imitations getting the most attention, but smaller perdigons have also hit a few fish. After the floods this spring, keep an eye on the flows. There are quite a few unstable banks and after any decent rain event the river will blow out for several days
