Hunting Reports – Upland and Waterfowl in Northern Michigan
Northern Michigan is well-known as one of the Crown Jewels of outdoor recreation. With the many millions of acres of public lands to explore and hunt and fish, it is a sportsman’s paradise. Our state is historically one of the top three states for grouse and the number one state for woodcock in the country. With our many lakes, rivers and the Great Lakes, the diversity of ducks is amazing from puddlers to divers and sea ducks, depending upon weather and the time of year.
We spend hundreds of hours in the woods and on the water training dogs, scouting and hunting each year. If you want to chase the king of gamebirds (grouse) or timberdoodles (local slang for woodcock), we have the covers to get you into and chase birds.
Maybe you like to chase ducks or geese. We have fields, boats blinds, kayaks and layout boats for any type of hunt to fit what the birds are doing at the time of your guide trip with us.
Throughout the season, we have hunting reports for both upland and waterfowl for you to look at. If you want to get out in the field or on the water, give us a call at 231.228.7135 or drop us an email to find out more.
Shoot Straight,
