Place your hook in vise and tie on your dumbbell eyes. Wind thread evenly down to straight above the point on the hook
On top of the hook shank tie in a clump of bucktail
On top of the bucktail tie in an olive zonker strip in the middle of the strip creating a tail and leaving enough to cover the top of the hook.
Underneath where honker strip is tied in tie two cross cut rabbit strips, white and pink
With out overlapping the leather, wrap the strips forward to the eyes. This requires you to wind the strips at a sharp angle to the hook. Take over the eyes and one under then tie it off
Cut strips off very close to wraps
Tie is tips (each end) of the rubber legs
Bring the zonker strip over the top of the fly and tie it in at the eye. Minimize the amount being tied down to avoid bulk
On top of zonker strip tie in 3 or 4 strands of pearl flashabou and fold it over.
Wrap your head and whip finish. Cut rubber legs and trim flashabou. Cement the head and go get em!
