Three generations of turkey hunters

Spring Turkey Hunting

When the snow is almost gone and the woods comes alive, the Toms have already been looking for Hens for a while.  No matter the year, as this time comes around it can only bring in our first season of the year – Spring turkey!  Nothing beats sneaking around the woods and fields looking for this huge bird with excellent eyesight.  Gobbles, clucks and purrs aside, this is a great time to get out after what is usually a long, cold winter.

We offer turkey hunts for up to two people, but history has taught us that one hunter and guide is the best combination for a successful day.  Hawkins Outfitters has access to private and public land to put you in the best position for dropping that Tom you’ve wanted to bag for many years.

Weather this time of year can be all over the map, so come prepared to hunt rain or shine. You will need a face mask, camo gloves and a 12 gauge with a tight (ideally turkey) choke.  We’ll handle the rest and even have rental guns if needed.

Pricing:

$500 per day per client.  We recommend only one client per hunt due to the extremely wary nature of turkeys.

Hunts are done per day and include snacks and refreshments.
