Hendrickson Emergers are a great pattern to fish prior to the huns hatching, the nymphs become quite active, swimming up toward the surface in quieter currents. Duns usually struggle emerging with this hatch, and an emerged pattern is a must have for the Hendrickson hatch.

- Thread: 8/0 olive
- Tail: Z-Lon dark dun
- Body: Turkey Tail Segment
- Rib: Pearl Krystal Flash
- Wing: Hare’s foot in Dark Dun
- Head: Olive Brown SLF Dubbing
Start with a TMC 100 or lite wire Dry Fly Hook
Add Z-long to your Hendrickson Emerger
Tie in Pearl Krystal Flash
Add Turkey Tail Segment
First wrap your Turkey Tail, then wrap your Krystal Flash forward as well
Rabbit foot for your wing, on your Hendrickson Emerger
Trim excess and secure with thread
Dub a head with a little SLF Dubbing, and whip finish.
